I have been using these ties for over 35 years, usually 6 days a week. Most of the styles I've used are quite fragile and come in packs of only 3-5); the others tend to break fairly quickly near the buttonholes (I used duct tape to prolong their life). But they are thicker and much stronger. Almost 4 months later I'm still using the first one with no signs of cracking or wear. So a 24 pack will last long after I retire, possibly for the rest of my life. Note: At first I thought it had a bug because it looked like a thin film was peeling off; It turned out to be a protective film, similar to what you see on new electronics to protect screens from scratches. Surprisingly, when they pack so well, think about how long they'll last! A small downside: being thicker and stronger, the loops don't flex around the button. I have to align the button more carefully than other stops I've used. Someone with arthritis or a similar condition may find this a bit difficult. Otherwise it's no problem!
