These valves are very easy to install on PEX pipes, but their opening and closing performance leaves something to be desired. A full quarter turn is very stiff and requires support from the tubing itself. The last 10% of "off" is very difficult to do because it freezes abruptly. (Both valves worked the same). I would have used them with an electronically operated remote control, but the mechanism was so complicated to operate that the remote controlled actuators could not move the levers. I replaced them with Shark Bite and had no more problems. I'll find a place to use them manually.
