Review on 🔌 Enhance Dust Collection Efficiency with Big Horn 11503 5-Inch Aluminum Blast Gate by Chelsea Hunter

I don't understand the positive reviews on this. The bottom of the door is not closed, so that when the door is open, air can be sucked in directly from below and the vacuum is lost in the process. If I'm not missing anything, it's an incredible design flaw. None of my other gates have this problem. In this state the gate is useless unless I'm happy to get rid of all the suction from the bottom of the gate. The second picture shows the lower gate in the same open position but looking directly through a gap in the floor. Unbelievable.
