A tire brush maybe, but I've found a much better use for which they're great for washing dishes.

I don't really like washing my car at home, I usually take it to the construction site, but I need a good brush. This brush is one of the best for washing dishes in the sink. It's great for pots, pans and plates as well as most other things. What makes it so good and better than the brushes I use is the finish. I have a couple of brushes, I use the small one to get in the cups and the big one for the pans. It is difficult to clean ceramics with burnt food in a pan or breaded baked potatoes. Additionally, steel pans, woks, and even some non-stick pans contain rice, eggs, or other difficult-to-clean foods. To clean them, you need to rub a lot. That's where they come in handy, the surface area of the brush is about 4 inches by 3 inches, which is over twice the size of my largest other dishwashing brush. What took 3 minutes of intense cleaning in hot, soapy water is now cleaned in less than two minutes. They are also soft to the touch, compact and easy to use. The bristles are fairly dense but soft enough not to scratch the non-stick coating. The brush handle is angled to avoid scratching your knuckles like some flat brushes I've used in the past. It also adds a bit of leverage from hard scrubbing and keeps my hand from touching the sides of the pot so easily while scrubbing. They showed up just in time today to do the week's washing up and roast some scrambled eggs in what is supposed to be a non-stick frying pan. They probably work well for tires too, but I find this to be the best use since I don't use a dishwasher. highlighted.
