This is rubbish - I have arsenic lab results to prove it

I wish I could give this one zero stars, one is too generous! I bought this filter because it was one of the few built-in faucet filters with NSF/ANSI 53 certification for arsenic removal. Last year, our cold water kitchen faucet without filtration showed 0.0108 mg/L. I installed it on the same kitchen faucet and used it for a week before taking a sample for lab testing. I also took a sample from our unfiltered cold water faucet in the master bathroom about 15 feet from the kitchen faucet. The report states that the unfiltered faucet in the bathroom was 0.0092 mg/l and the kitchen faucet with filter was 0.0093 mg/l! See attached pictures. This filter was actually 0.0001 higher than the unfiltered one! The instructions for the filter have an SGS lab NSF/ANSI 53 report, but it's named by a Chinese manufacturer, it's not made in the USA, despite the misleading "USA Tech" at the end of the Revain description. And for those who don't need it. For arsenic, be aware that the histogram "lifetime indicator" and the housing of the "visible window" for the filter are INACCURATE! The housing is not transparent, but painted in the same color as the "Slightly soiled" stripes on the indicator. Therefore, new white filters look "slightly dirty" inside the housing. You have to wait for it to become "Dirty" to see changes in the filter! How stupid is that?!?!? See attached picture.
