Bought this for my MIL who wanted something to style her hair but didn't want it to be heavy, complicated or time consuming. I saw good reviews, liked the price and decided to give it a try. It has a great digital display that shows OFF every time it is plugged in and then just press ON and + or - for the temperature. She grew a perm and one day it slipped easily through her hair and was almost straight. She had never styled her hair before and figured it out in a few minutes. So this is great for those who are new to hair tools. And she also said it didn't feel too hot on her scalp.
