Worked great for my central vacuum system. I found an old model and serial number on an existing engine and ordered this one. I was about to buy a whole new jerry can as my old engine was very noisy and could be heard throughout the house. I think the camps in it were shot. But found this one and saved a lot of money. Pretty easy to install, make sure you take a picture of the motor before you start taking it apart so you know where the wires go back to. Now I can hardly hear him when we start the vacuum cleaner. Plus much more suction power.
