Little and Has Oomph

When I saw the box for this arrive, I was prepared to be underwhelmed. The box is small. I took it out and assembly is snapping on the outlet tube and plugging it in.However, I am impressed with this. I have an 20 year old Craftsman gas blower than just doesn't cut it any more, but I was having a hard time justifying a new leaf blower since I use it about 3 times a year. This one is easy on the wallet and WAY out performs my little gas blower. It's light, moves a lot of air, and does a good job. It has an adjustment knob (0 to 5), but you might as well leave it cranked at 5.I have about a 1/2 acre back yard with a ton of trees. I ran this for about 2 hours straight at the end of a 100' extension cord and had no issues. It worked awesome. The only things I dislike:-The shoulder strap is mediocre at best. I managed to make it work, but it is seriously lacking (luckily the unit is light, otherwise I'd knock a star or two off)-You have a cord behind you, so you have to be conscious of your path and not get tangled around a treeWhat I like:-It has a cord. so no batteries to drain, no gas to top off, and lighter than a gas unit-It's light weight-It moves a lot of airOther notes:-Seems pretty well made, doesn't feel like brittle plastic or anything-It is loud. but it's a leaf blower. Mostly sounds like a vacuum on steroids.Overall, I like this think. I don't have a gas engine to take care of or batteries that keep running out of juice. If you've got a long extension cord, then you are good to go.

Pros
  • Works great on my deck removing pine needles and leaves.
Cons
  • It may leave a trail of debris that users will need to clean up afterward
