I've tried at least 7 curlers in the last 5 years. My favorites were T3 reels, but they had flaws. The reels get hot enough to burn your hands and heat up almost instantly. These are expensive 8 reel kits ($100+) and the reels themselves will fail and you will have to buy replacement reels at a cost of $10-$15 per reel. I had to buy 8 rolls in 9 months. This set heats up fairly quickly, is inexpensive and has a great design. It fits easily on the side of a sink or vanity. It has good clips that hold up well. Good amount of videos. It gets hot, but not hot enough to burn your fingers. As the clamps and rollers heat up, you will get a more even result. I recommend this set to almost everyone else, especially steam and plastic reel sets.
