Review on Sound Bar Xiaomi Mi TV Soundbar Black by Boyan Bambekov ᠌
Not all that bad, but there are minuses.
Because Bluetooth is the sole appropriate connection, the soundbar is completely contraindicated for anyone whose audio source does not support Bluetooth. With it, the sound is fairly good for the price, but the volume control is a little sluggish. I have a TV without Bluetooth, but I only use it with Apple TV. With it, the soundbar works well with Bluetooth and I have no issues; the sound quality is much better than that of the TV speakers.
- Almost no bright soundbars excellent sound for the money works well with Bluetooth, doesn't switch to sleep mode, etc.
- When connected analogly (3.5 jack and tulips), the sound "floats" a little louder or a little softer, as if the audio track is broken. This is clearly a problem at the development level. The volume is exclusively adjusted by the soundbar buttons and the optics don't have the aforementioned issues, but a barely audible background noise is constantly present. This probably also applies to wired SPDIF. The only suitable connection to the soundbar is Bluetooth, thus I absolutely advise against purchasing if your TV, computer, etc. lacks it.
