Pros:* You can just put the whole roll (in strips of 6) in the scanner and go* The image quality is very pleasing (I would still use a Minolta 5400 if I'm printing a really big frame would like to, but I suppose * ICE (Magic Touch) feature doesn't always work very well and can produce weird artifacts * The included software doesn't allow you to keep the scanner raw (I'd rather reverse myself with ColorPerfect) * Vuescan supports this, but it can only do one stripe at a time, and multi-frame cropping is completely broken, so raw scanning isn't very convenient (but the scanner's auto negative inversion is good, so it doesn't bother me that much).* It's open at the top so I assume it picks up dust easily. Although I've only had it a day it's just a guess. All in all a huge improvement de s workflow. More I don't have to take a day off to check my backlog.
