I can't rate this flat brush low enough. The chemicals released from the latex rubber caused my scalp to become allergic and I LOSED MORE THAN HALF THE HAIR in a few months. When I opened the packaging and saw that the brush smelled like gasoline (as other reviewers have pointed out), I should have known it was dangerous to use. I left it unused for a month until the smell was almost gone. I knew little about the test that awaited me when I started using it. It took 8 months, multiple doctor/dermatologist/allergist appointments, blood tests, biopsies, patches and many dollars to get a correct diagnosis that directly linked the inflammation and hair loss to Olivia Garden's soft brush. Pain, itching, swelling, and excessive shedding stopped within a short time of stopping using the brush. New hair is sprouting and my scalp is healing. But man, it was one hell of a nightmare.
