I Believe the item I received was used. However, the stitching was so bad it could be that one of the seams was just ripped because of the poor quality. But, my item arrived with a rip seam right in the front at the waistline. It was balled up in a clear package with No tags. The Material is not 100% polyester, it has any polyester in the blend at all. The item did stretch. But, the quality of the seeing is so bad, it stretched where you did not want it to stretch (like the neckline), but failed to stretch around the hips and waist, where you actually like a little wiggle room. It's also ill-fitting in the lower stomach area and the stitch down your front is seen croooked. Very thin and you can see the winding seams. Just don't waste your time. Save your money and disappointment and look for something else.
