The vacuum pump worked great to bleed the front disc brake. A simple connection, the gauge showed it would hold a vacuum before loosening the nut (or valve) to release the air. Properly bleed before the brake line. I was literally done in minutes. A small remark that did not interfere with the work is that there was a small dent in the corner of the case. There is no indication that this happened in transit as the box it was sent in is undamaged. It doesn't really matter to me, but if you give it away it will detract from the visuals. As a mechanic you can smell a smell when you open the case, probably some kind of piston grease but I'm used to the smell as it is with a car. Overall good value for money, time saving on a two person brake bleed (experience suggests lubricating the exhaust valve with a penetrating oil a few days in advance as on older cars the valve can break as it rusts).
