I really wanted to love these sandals! I give the sandals four stars for the width. I have narrow feet and these sandals had no way to tighten the straps. I always wear a size 9 and ordered these but the heel strap was also very loose. The strap isn't adjustable, it's a stretchy material that slips off the heel and clumps underfoot. However, the sandals were beautiful and the insole was so comfortable! It was soft like a yoga mat. The outsole had excellent tread and grip. I bought them for an upcoming trip to Disney so even though they were free I wanted to try and test the sandals. I went camping and it was miserable. Since the straps were too big for my narrow feet, the sandals dangled off my foot with every step and then my foot snapped back as I hit the ground. After about thirty minutes, I felt blisters forming on both soles of my feet. The top straps were also very itchy and uncomfortable. I think if the shoes were tight I wouldn't notice the top straps. I really wanted to love these shoes but they are not for narrow feet. I think if you have a wide foot these sandals are perfect. I would suggest downsizing the heel strap.
