Acquired for my craft. However, having received and seen such a good range of sizes, I use them for crafts and face painting. The others I initially looked at were much more expensive and I saw that this set was very similar and decided to read the reviews on it. They are soft, well made and I haven't noticed any hair falling out of them. Using them for my card making makes me feel like an artist using them as they go together so beautifully. They keep me from using my hands to smooth down the blush and getting my hands dirty with makeup. Now this is the final step of my regimen and I love how well they blend. They also beautify my workspace and the case of my other brushes and pens.
