I bought this embroidery accessory to hold the embroidery hoop because I have arthritis. My hands get tired quickly and start to hurt. The stand allowed me to sew longer than usual. It took a few tries to get used to it, but expect most changes. The assembly instructions were easy to understand. Hoop handle. I found the tire slipped very easily so I had to tighten it frequently. I decided to add a non-slip shelf liner to the stand. This solved the problem. It will take a very small piece that I already had on hand. I don't know if you want to buy a roll just for this purpose. This stand is not intended for Q-snap or similar brands. However, I was willing to give up Q-Snap to use the kickstand. happy sewing
