Review on 🔒 Travelon Blocking Passport Black: Ultimate Size for Secure Travel by Sabrina White

Just received the case and the quality is evident as soon as I open the box. I have ordered 3 different types of Travelon RFID family passport holders and they are all made to the same standard of quality. I have ordered another leather passport cover for another family member and the quality cannot even be compared to Travelon. Very satisfied with product quality. Holds up to 5 credit cards and has a bookmark. I put my passport in, so opening the suitcase shows my photo page. I assumed that's how the case was meant to be used. When the case is in the closed position, it stays open about an inch or so when at rest. You can't do that without a passport. I have experienced this with other passport holders. The case will not remain closed on its own like any other case for the matter. I use a pretty red rubber band to wrap the case and close it tightly. Adds a bit of finesse and helps set it apart from the other two black passports I have for the family. US passports are most vulnerable when open. In this case, you can keep your passport where it is safe even when open. I wish that was the default configuration, but it isn't. (See #2 below). This requires inserting the front cover (and only the front cover) of the passport into the area behind the credit card holders where the back of the passport normally fits. You can then mark the ID page with tape and the passport will be secure even when open. The only downside is that you open the case from the back, not the front; The pass is installed upside down, I think that's the best way to describe it. It's hard to describe, but visually it will make sense. I'm not giving 5 stars for two reasons: 1. I'm not sure about the durability of the product but I'm pretty sure it won't be a problem as I said the quality is very good.2. Lack of a fully RFID shielded area for the front cover of the passport (when open) behind the transparent cover of the page where your ID page is inserted. Installing a passport in this holder still leaves it vulnerable to opening. An additional sleeve fully protects the RFID chip and fully protects it when opened. To my knowledge, no passport holder on the market has this feature and I don't know why.
