Review on Sceptre C248B-144R: A Curved 24 πŸ’» Inch 1080P DisplayPort Monitor with FreeSyncTM Technology by Prajesh Elliott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Out of the box settings - nonsense, but the setting is very nice

This works with G-Sync on GTX 1080Ti if you have the latest drivers installed. That's an important point I was concerned about. Even at the maximum frame rate, there is no flickering or artifacts on the screen. This monitor is exceptional compared to others in this space. The metal stand is nice, and while I haven't tried the built-in speakers, it's nice to have them. Another thing I liked were the ports on the back, they're brightly colored and easy to see and access from weird angles (like you have to reach the top of the monitor to plug it in). The default settings are terrible, almost so bad I thought I had to dial them back, but with more settings you get a fairly nice and even image with decent color reproduction. The stand is decent quality but I have an 8 week old kitten who accidentally knocked it over so it could be a bit more stable. 2 more to do NVidia surround sound but the wife probably won't let me spend money on computer stuff for a while.
