They leave it up to you the buyer to finish the interior of the solution. This is a complete BS. It would be a lot easier for her. I received mine and it was still rough in the bowl from the coring/cutting process. I've tried over a pound of uncooked rice (per her instructions) and it's still very gross, not to mention time consuming and labor intensive. Maybe just me, but I think they could do better. I see this as a cleaning issue where you will likely need to "clean" the bowl after use rather than just washing and cleaning. For the record, I know a little about polishing stones.
