I like the concept of this product but its execution is far from pleasant. The user guide is riddled with typos and grammatical errors, but these are minimal compared to my overall experience on the subject. I bought it to help me quit smoking and reduce the time I spend on social media to gradually distract myself. I figured putting my vape and phone in here for a few hours would help me party in a more natural way. Even before I started, I opened the box and didn't see any clear instructions on how to put the batteries in, so I closed the box to see how secure it was, only to find out I had to put the batteries in from the bottom for it to work. Work. After almost breaking the damn thing, I finally figured out how to open it on the internet. In the same place I found a review from a woman who said that the time function is poor and you shouldn't trust the time shown as the timer is running slowly. I'm so glad I read this because immediately after reading this I put my vape device in the timer lock and didn't put my phone in the device which was my initial plan. I should have noticed the massive red flag sooner, but luckily I wasn't aware of it. The timer set itself for an hour and then initiated its own countdown/blocking sequence, which is something technology shouldn't do, but I thought it was only an hour, I'll check. After an hour and 15 minutes I go to check the lock and to my surprise I see that it is still closed but this time the lock has been set to 800 hours. At this point I was so thankful for the review that prevented me from putting my phone in there but I was so angry I wasted $40. Ideally I'd like to contact support and ask them to tell me how to open it (pressing H&M at the same time doesn't work), but that defeats the purpose of the time lock. Anyway, I just wanted to share my story in case it can help anyone. Please do not, under any circumstances, plug anything you really need into this device before you have figured out how to operate it, otherwise it could be literally months before you see this article again.
