Review on Sony FE 85Mm 1 4 Lens by Monica Woods

Yes, it's still quite an expensive purchase. But if you're into portraiture, this is a dream lens. I really like IQ, edge to edge. I've been looking forward to this lens for a long time. I've shot portraits with a 90mm f2.8 macro lens that works well. But to get two full stops of light out of the Thr 85, I had to pull the trigger. Although mine is only a few days old. I have occasionally borrowed a copy from a friend over the past few years. Now I've paired it with a Sony Alpha1 and it's a dream combination. I love it!
