My daughter broke the bottom of the cardboard that sits on the bottom of her Graco backpack and is kinda playing. This is the same piece you would fold around the bed to assemble it. It goes perfectly with what we have from Graco. I've argued and argued whether to take this one or the folded one. I chose this one because it seemed more durable than the others. It's like a crib mattress with a water-repellent finish, only thinner and smaller. I believe this mattress is 3 inches thick. I measured the bed before ordering to make sure it would fit. Fits well with no gaps. I saw that there are sheets for these mattresses for sale. For now I just used a regular cheat sheet. It doesn't fit perfectly, but it does the job. Would recommend and buy again if needed.
