I bought this case to protect my Nook Reader a/k/a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7.0. Case does a good job. I'm happy with that. (This is a custom-fit case, not a regular 7" case, so make sure you order the correct case for your specific tablet model.) The case has a matte finish that looks like real leather and not plastic . -y. As for durability, I have a similar Fintie case for another tablet. It is still strong even after several years of use. FYI: I didn't use the built-in kickstand so I can't comment on that. A few Tipps. Packing the tablet into the case may seem like a puzzle at first, but it's actually quite simple. The tablet is inserted through the left side of the case. Simply undo the velcro on the left side and slide the tablet in. Pull the Velcro back over the edge. Ready. The fit is snug so it may require a little push to make the on/off button on the right more accessible. The on/off button is slightly recessed when the tablet is inserted, a small disadvantage. I would have preferred it that way rather than on display. (Too many pocket cameras were activated due to the impact.) While you can access the left side of the tablet, if you're adding a micro SD card for extra storage, insert it before placing the tablet in the case. I think it's easier to work with a small memory card in the first place. Overall I highly recommend this product. I am not a paid reviewer. Simply a satisfied regular customer.
