I've had a Jam Rewind for years and needed a replacement because the battery isn't lasting as long as it used to. I bought the Hang Tight because I wanted something louder. It's a bit louder and bigger, but the sound quality isn't very good. Distortion kicks in long before you hit maximum volume. Rewind has more bass than this one. There are some redeeming qualities. The cord stored in the Hang Tight is very useful. The battery lasts a long time even with a 12-hour working day. I can toss it in my lunch cooler bag and not worry about condensation getting inside. To be honest I probably would have sent it back if I hadn't thrown away the packaging.
