Video speaks for itself. No coil squeaking. If you notice coil whine, all you have to do is go to the advanced settings (under Setup) in the BIOS. Then go to CPU settings and disable C-states control. (This will surely eliminate any coil whine as far as the motherboard is concerned, this board is 14 phase, 1 phase for the GPU, 90 AMP. It has a strong VRM and this motherboard doesn't sweat when you overclock it (pics say Unlike the MSI MEG Unify (which I had before) the transient response and the extra heatsink due to its ARMOR made this motherboard that much better in terms of efficiency and overclocking.Paying $800 for a high end motherboard but still being high Quality features (the only big difference with the Aorus Extreme is that the Extreme has 16 phases instead of 14, everything else is basically the same. 14 phases and 90 AMP is overkill. SOUND is great. I no longer have to plug headphones into the back of the monitor (where there is a lot of electrical noise. I can plug them in from the front and still get 192k 32-bit music, I also have access to his AMP LIFIER (front panel) which up to 3 levels (it's awesome and fun, I use my Sennehiser HD599 and oh my the sound on the front is great.
