These tights are true to size. Brown is not a light brown skin color as I assumed and shown in the picture, but a dark brown Brazilian color. Because of this, my daughter doesn't want to wear them. The tights are good for dressing up but they are not as thick as the other tights we have bought that say they are dance tights. They also had a glitter factor but nothing that could be conveyed as glitter which is nice it's just a shiny thread. These tights have survived a good wash in the washing machine.
