It's my own fault for ordering a cover that's a little shorter than my Subaru Forester. I assumed I knew the size and those two extra inches mattered. I am keeping the cover as it was the largest when I purchased this item. I'll improvise, but don't do it. Go and measure. You will not regret it. The previous cover I gave away with the SUV sold fit PERFECTLY. I measured that.
