First of all I really like this unit. It's well built and gets the job done provided you're willing and able to complete the kit. The product comes in kit form (if it says so in the ad, I didn't see it). It's not bad and only requires a Phillips screwdriver. In the last picture you can see two diagonally arranged blocks. These are the only two of their kind that come with the kit. You'll want to make 6 or 8 more for your apple press to work. Also included is a plastic washer. The puck will serve you until the first press, but will be destroyed in the process. Buy two 1 inch washers and some lube. That's enough forever. Finally you want to buy a fruit crusher (shown in the 3rd picture). This is a separate device, but absolutely necessary. I have 1 apple tree in my garden. The first day we made 2 1/4 gallons of apple cider. I came back another day and made another 1 1/2 gallons. The cider is WAY better than anything I could buy at the store. I plan to make a tradition of making cider every year :)
