We've been using these cables for our phone and iPad for about a month and today I smelled fire right after I plugged them in. I turned it off and plumes of smoke rose from the flash. ! I tried a few more times after resetting the fuse and using a different plug and each time it started smoking and smelling like metallic fire. If I leave the house I could lose everything I have in a fire! Worse, I hooked it up in the kid's room. I am appalled at how unsafe this is. Discard all three cables. I use Brex Link for my Android phone and would like them to sell a cable for our Apple products. One thing I can say for sure: I will never order them again!
