Based on positive feedback from an audio review site I jumped at the chance to buy these and was not disappointed. Indeed these are fantastic sounding headphones, especially for the price. I'm not a music lover able (?) to explain all the different aspects of soundstage and brightness and everything they say. Let me just say that the sound is crisp and clear with no distortion. They have great bass sound, not clipping or sacrificing the sound quality of other bands. They sit very comfortably in the ears and do not slip out at all. This is my first headphone which has a cable running through the ear - I was a little worried about comfort or possible irritation with this type, but I don't even realize the cable is running through the ear at all. The silicone tips that came with it were ok but I replaced them with the foam tips which I like better and I did it with no problems. after a short while the R mark was erased as with L and R. This happened in a few days. It could be improved but it's such a minor gripe. I liked them so much after using them for a few weeks that I bought a second pair to have on my desk as a backup.
