We use them to go to the toilet when camping. We have a 5 liter bucket with a toilet seat. The pouches don't fill a 5g bucket, not even close. But the toilet seat keeps the bag in place. A scoop of kitty litter goes in the bag, we go about our business, and then we throw the bag away. I don't change the bag when urinating. I just add another spoonful of cat litter. As for the poop, I'm finishing the package. I wanted black, biodegradable bags that you can't see through and that you can bury. (Also with biodegradable cat litter). The bags hold up perfectly for 24 hours while the woman is using them. I don't think putting wet things in would be a good idea. They look, act and feel like plastic, but they won't be around for hundreds of years. Hooray! The perforated tear line on them is nice too. I didn't rip out the bottom of either bag like I did with another brand.
