It seems to help my dog. I find that sometimes we all crave something essential in our diet just like animals do and my boy will literally eat a capsule if I drop it. If you have cats, be sure to open the capsule and mix with a small amount of your favorite wet cat food or other favorite food. If you only use half or less of a capsule, you can reassemble the capsule, put the cotton pad back in the container and place the incomplete capsule on top. Another idea is to measure the amount in a capsule to determine the dose in teaspoons and then simply empty all the capsules into a container. Update: I wish it wasn't so expensive here. I started ordering elsewhere.
