first let me say that I like the extension cord. Because it allows me to connect my iPad (and iPhone) to the alarm clock/radio without having to remove the cases from the devices. When I plug in my iPad, it starts charging immediately. And it charges all night while I sleep. I like listening to relaxing music and it helps me sleep, it also charges my iPad and allows me to listen to music on the radio. I say this is a very good buy you just have to make sure it works for what you need.
