My 30 year old Kenmore canister has gotten dusty (ha!). After getting the carpet out of the house last summer, my priority wasn't how well the machine could vacuum the dirt out of the carpet. What mattered was the decibel level and ease of use. I wanted a different canister and use nozzles a lot. I read many reviews, read many details about the product and ordered Severin. I'm not disappointed. It is quiet, agile and light. The tips come in a bag rather than being stored in a canister (like my old one) but I can live with that. Anything else is a win for me.
