As someone who has never used a vacuum sealer before, the instructions that came with it were not enough to understand how to use this product. I had to look for videos on You Tube. After figuring out how to use it, we still had issues with the package not closing completely. All the air was pumped out, and then when we opened the sealant, it inflated again. We eventually found that every pouch we tried had a small area of about 1/4 inch that was probably unsealed and was always in the same spot. I think it could be a defect in our particular machine. We are back and will buy another brand.
