I did not purchase these items to mount monitors but to use as speaker stands. All the ones I reviewed were either too big, too boring, or too expensive. These stands offered a high level of sophistication without the high price tag. I had to make small adjustments, but I retained the ability to adjust up, down, left, and right. The base is made of durable black tempered glass and assembly was very easy. When switched on, the speaker's vibration is not transmitted to the table on which it is placed. I looked at many stands and other options to get the exact stands I needed, but they met all the requirements I was looking for.
