I've bought seven of these since 2020 - love them so much. This is a well built quality product. Traditional lighting design. Brushed brass looks great on my gilded frames; I'm glad I didn't get polished brass. I installed directly on the back of the frame. The light is a traditional warm white with 5 levels of brightness and the brightest levels are brighter than I would like. I think they have excellent battery life - I light one up in the kitchen every night and the battery lasts almost a month. It's the only way I can get this look without running new power lines through the plaster walls, so I'm very happy with it. All the others I see with batteries look too modern, cheap, or cost a lot more than these and/or rely on AAA batteries that last about three days. None of the negative reviews or complaints about it relate to my purchases and usage.
