Neat winter essential, especially if you have a wood stove

An interesting invention. While I like it, the only reason it doesn't get a solid 5 stars is because it's difficult to get the top to snap into place without fear of breaking the thing. I got this because the damper on the outside of the house from the dryer vent was broken and there was a wood stove inside which was the main place to draw winter air into the house, it was always 10 degrees colder in the laundry room. Not anymore, it pumps the heat from the dryer back into the house. Summer will come, I'll tuck it back in for it to blow outside. Be careful, usually we close the laundry door because of the noise, and that's why the walls are sweating from all the moisture from the clothes to be dried, the fan in the oven or just a small fan designed to blow out excess moisture. Outside. With this internal drying vent, it is a win-win situation. There are no more cold drafts or hot air being blown out, and the dry, moist air from the wood stove is kept at a good humidity level, so we don't have to run the humidifier. Drying our clothes is enough now! Also, the house now smells like fresh clothes. If you really wanted to you could make an even better mount out of a 5 gallon bucket and some plumbing adapters which I think will help catch any dryer lint. This ProFlex is on the small side so make sure it's half full. Water, because even if water is present, it doesn't catch all of the dryer lint, only most of it. Overall I'm glad I got this, took 5 minutes to install and there are more benefits than I thought.
