Considering the price, I love this little bookshelf. When I ordered I was afraid it wouldn't be enough. However, I like that the top shelf is right at my eye level. (I'm 5'4"). I also like that the shelves are almost 14" apart. Most bookshelves are 12" wide or less. We expected to have to pick a few books because we thought that wouldn't be enough room for everything but there was enough for each plus a few trinkets.hour.All parts were present except for a small dent on one of the outer sections of the 'grille', it was in perfect condition.The curvature was very low. It's not visible from a distance. I'm not usually a fan of faux wood shelves, but there is a metal rod that supports each shelf and gives them structure so they don't sag. The only thing that worries me is the finish of the MDF - it's so shiny it makes it stand out that it's fake. If I had a choice I would choose satin. That's not a determining factor but I'm a bit disappointed. We hope that someday MDF will be replaced by natural wood replaced becomes. shelves anyway.
