The fabric on this ironing board cover is thin and thin although it is nicely padded and fits my oversized ironing board very well. The fabric does not allow the iron to slip and therefore stretches over the ironing. If you only iron a few pieces a week that might be fine, but I'm a master quilter and need a much more durable fabric than this product. Within 3 weeks the fabric will curl up and begin to stain. I threw it away and bought a replacement.
