Clearly visible with no loss of sound quality

I watch movies late at night and use headphones so my wife can sleep. The red color was an advantage as I dragged this string across the floor to get to me on the couch. It's visible, which reduces the likelihood of someone tripping over it. The sound quality does not deteriorate.
