I wasn't expecting too much from this mic for the price but wanted something small on my desk to replace what I had - terrible Logitech. My Logitech USB mic has poor background noise cancellation and echoes when I speak. The microphone works even when the sound is muted! It doesn't work at normal levels - people say I sound very low. But being very quiet when you want the sound to be muted doesn't help. So I bought it hoping it would solve at least one of my problems. Seems to have fixed both. I didn't notice any echo with it, and when it's muffled, the computer picks up a NULL signal (checked - by paranoia, according to Logitech). The flexible neck holds its position well and I like the look. Overall unbeatable for the price. I just bought a second one for my other computer.
