Anytime you buy a third party solution for a product like the NEC projector you are taking a risk. That is clear. But the NEC version costs $600. This lamp costs just over $60 (tax included). We installed it and it worked without any problems, it looked as bright as the NEC lamp in the projector. Let's see how long this lasts.
