Review on OWC 6GB (2GB + 4GB) PC5300 DDR2 667MHz SO-DIMMs Memory Compatible With MacBook by Mark Cannon

Used to upgrade my old Macbook and use it as Linux machine to reuse. Perfect fit for the A1811 - although Apple only officially supports 4GB on these models, techs found that MoBo actually easily takes up to 6GB (plus, performance drops dramatically). This mismatched combination (4+2GB) is the perfect solution to the problem I was having and that's why I bought it. Works perfectly! My Lubuntu machine can see/use all 6 gigabytes with no problems.
