I took this as a replacement for the front box which has 6 connectors, I figured 3 on each side would make cable management easier. An added bonus is the presence of 4 top USB ports for charging. My plan worked mostly as intended, the top ports refuse to fast charge my Android devices that otherwise use fast charging. That confusion aside, it's a great block. The transparent sliding cover can be easily removed to keep the USB ports open at all times. Didn't try the dock feature as I don't have an Apple at home and the phones have switched to USB C.
