I wasn't expecting much for over $60 even after reading many reviews here but I was pleasantly surprised when I started using this flash. I shoot in manual mode with flash, so this model suited me. The attached photo is with a 26" octabox and was taken at around 1/8 power I think (flash was used for fills and highlights). The power is enough for street pouring and works great in modifiers. It's hot when you're shooting in quick succession, and the flash can momentarily stop firing. I took about 50 photos in quick succession and ended up firing the flash about 25% of the time. I stopped for about 5 minutes and after that it was fine. I've seen this behavior twice before and just use it to take a break and put in new batteries (although they aren't fully discharged). All in all a great flash for the price and if it lasts a year or two I'll be happy.
