First pair of dance shoes I've ever worn, so there is nothing else that compares. Bought for a musical I was in. This is the second order - I usually wear 11, but the 11 I bought wrinkled my toes so bad it hurt my feet. The 12's I bought fit snugly and were comfortable for the first 30 minutes. After that, my heels hurt. It's probably not the fault of the shoes, but that my foot isn't used to the support and cushioning that a good pair of tennis shoes provide. Overall - worked great for the dance steps I did in the musical.
