Review on Smart electric grill Tefal Optigrill+ Initial GC706D34 with thickness sensor, steel/black by Mateusz Roczon ᠌

There are a few bugs, basically the norm.

Everything would be fine, but the meat does not fry. I specially took 2 pieces of beef, one in the Tefal grill in manual mode, the other in a frying pan. Grilled the meat, as always, cooked (although the moisture was previously removed, and the meat was allowed to rest for 1.5 hours at room temperature, without salt and pepper). In a frying pan, a similar piece of meat was perfectly fried to Medium rare. It makes no sense to turn on the automatic mode for cooking a steak at all - just spoil the piece, the meat turns out to be tasteless. But there are pluses: it fries vegetables well, keeping all the juices inside. Makes great hot sandwiches. He fries chicken fillet not bad, he also tries to cook it, but still it turns out not as bad as with beef. In general, I am more disappointed with the purchase - after all, the grill was bought primarily for frying steaks.

Pros
  • Doesn't splatter Panels are easy to remove Fat flows down to the tray Great for cooking vegetables
Cons
  • Steaks are not fried, but rather boiled Washing the panels by hand is very inconvenient
