1 Inserted cards (correct 16GB from OWC) in slots 1 and 2 after removing 8GB Crucial.2 When Mac boots, emits a soft beep, followed contacted (chat) by a loud buzzing or farting sound .3 OWC support, they told me to clean the contacts with eraser and alcohol and reset the PRAM. It did not work. 4 Reseat the old Crucial cards. Every 90 seconds. Now I'm angry.5 Contacted OWC via Revain support on the phone, let them hear the noise. Tried PRAM a second time and the noise was gone. OK cool! 7. Opened and re-run when I started exporting video. Mac crashed. Repeated several times with the same results. Mac forum late 2015 on OWC storage and Macs.8 Reposted OWS, then reinstalled my OS (Mojave). . Mac still stuck on export. GRRRRR9 Found a video that suggested putting in 16GB cards after 8GB cards and then wiping the disk and starting over. The idea is that even though the maps show up in my Mac's storage area, the Mac isn't accessing them properly or something. (mostly already done).12 Erased my Mac's hard drive, reinstalled the operating system and restarted PRAM. (An added benefit of this was that I had to reinstall all of my peripherals (printers, office programs, Photoshop styles and plugins, actions, purchased fonts, etc.). BUT.
